contents Mathematical and Statistical Software Index. Final Report. Black, Doris E., Comp. Analysis of Variance Computer Programs Correlation Factor Analysis Indexes Item Analysis Library Collections Linear Programing Multiple Regression Analysis Statistical Analysis Brief descriptions are provided of general-purpose mathematical and statistical software, including 27 "stand-alone" programs, three subroutine systems, and two nationally recognized statistical packages, which are available in the Air Force Human Resources Laboratory (AFHRL) software library. This index was created to enable researchers to identify mathematical or statistical software currently operational on the AFHRL computer system. Information on 27 "stand-alone" programs is presented in the form of an abstract for each item and a list of program documentation references for the reader who wishes to obtain formal program documentation. Each abstract includes general program description, program origin, important program restrictions, and warning about excessive computer execution time incurred in certain circumstances, followed by the symbol of the branch of AFHRL responsible for program development and documentation references. The general descriptions of the software library's three mathematical and/or statistical subroutine systems include a list of the subroutines contained in each system and documentation references. Information provided on two nationally recognized statistical packages, Biomedical Computer Programs and STATJOB, both available in the software library, includes general descriptions, a list and brief descriptions of programs in each package, and package documentation references.
