By participating in the program, students will reinforce skills such as using library reference aids, using books and magazines, constructing and interpreting tables, graphs, and cartoons, identifying continents and oceans, reading map directions, locating places on maps and globes, calculating mileage, identifying fact, opinion, and bias, identifying primary and secondary sources, and assessing source reliability.
