Conference Reports Foreign Countries Information Centers International Educational Exchange Professional Personnel Serials Teacher Education "Newsletter EIC-FET" is a periodical of the Information Review series published by the European Information Centre of the Charles University for Further Education of Teachers in Prague twice a year in Czech, English, and Russian. It carries communications on main events organized by the Centre and on significant activities in the field of further education of teachers in Europe. This issue includes material on three EIC-FET events. The subjects treated are: further education of teachers of handicapped youth; further education of teachers in the use of educational media; and preparation for the international colloquy, "The Teacher and the Science of Education." Teacher training programs in Czechoslovakia, the USSR, Poland, Sweden, the Netherlands, France, and Switzerland are discussed, and two international educational information systems are cited. A selective bibliography and a listing of new EIC-FET library acquisitions are appended. The text appears in both English and in Czech. (Author/LH)
