Curriculum Centers in Institutions of Higher Education in New York State and in Selected Midwestern Institutions. Dullea, Barbara A. Curriculum Development Higher Education Information Centers Library Collections Resource Materials Special Libraries Surveys Teacher Centers Teacher Education The formation, administration, and use of curriculum centers in universities was studied for the purpose of clarifying their objectives and making recommendations for their improvement. These centers contain a specialized collection of materials and equipment designed to aid curriculum development and to provide students who are preparing for a career in teaching with the various materials needed for planning and improving curriculum. The results of a survey conducted in such centers are presented, listing the services and resources available in each. The questionnaire used in the survey is appended. (JD)
