Chapters for study cover the card catalog, the stacks, periodicals, newspaper indexes, book review indexes, dictionaries, biographies, encyclopedias, almanacs, atlases, documents, and non-print reference services. Multiple sets of questions for each chapter are available so that no student in a given library skills course has the same assignments. Brief guidelines for research are included, as well as a workbook evaluation sheet and pages for correction notes. (FM) |
