In addition to papers presented by members of an interdisciplinary symposium on the issues, problems, and opportunities of health education, the report contains information on the following: (1) alterntive patterns of cooperation in a variety of settings; (2) library materials supporting health education; (3) legal, ethical, and social dimensions of health education; and (4) establishing and maintaining health resource centers. An evaluation and a discussion of the conferences are included, and appendices provide a program of the institute, a list of participants, a pre-measurement instrument, a post-measurement instrument, and a communication to the National Commission on Libraries and Information Science. Tables illustrate a number of points brought out at the conference. (FM) |
