- Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped in Denmark. Larsen, John Blindness Foreign Countries History Legislation Libraries Library Services Physical Disabilities Talking Books This description is divided into four sections: (1) Danish library legislation for the blind and physically handicapped, (2) the history of library service to the blind, (3) the existing state of library service to the blind and physically handicapped, and (4) the future of such services. Ways to improve the "have-little" status of the blind and physically handicapped in Danish libraries are considered, with emphasis on the blind, though recommendations are included for services to other handicapped users. The production of talking books, as well as braille materials, is a major focus. (JD)
