References included were obtained from a search of the card catalog of the Department of Labor library, standard periodical indexes, and other reference sources such as Educational Resources Information Center and the National Technical Information Service. The bibliography is divided into 11 sections: general books and pamphlets, general articles and papers, standards for apprenticeship, state apprenticeship programs, descriptions of individual apprentice programs, minority and disadvantaged groups in apprenticeship, women in apprenticeship, apprenticeship contests, miscellaneous brief articles, apprenticeship in other countries, and films. In addition to bibliographic information, many of the citations include annotations. (LRA)
