Policy elements recommended for inclusion are statements on collection objectives, collection scope, physical size, types of material, selector roles, removal procedures, and interdepartmental relationships. Criteria for the selection, retention, or removal of reference materials are provided, and a bibliography of 12 titles is attached. (RAA)
