Accompanied by a separate booklet of illustrations which are to be used in conjunction with the questions, the test covers the following skill clusters: (1) understandings about materials, (2) using the card catalog, (3) general reference skills, (4) using dictionaries, (5) using atlases, (6) using newspapers, (7) using periodical indexes, (8) using additional reference materials, and (9) the production of audiovisual media.
