Data are presented on the following topics: (1) the framework for examining the utilization of the NLS, (2) size and distribution of the household population with print limitations, (3) the analysis and impact of limitations on the process of reading, (4) demographic and social characteristics of the visually disabled, (5) activities and information seeking behavior of the target group, (6) reading habits of persons with print limitations, (7) awareness and utilization of the NLS program, and (8) satisfaction with the NLS program.
