Among the specifics, it advocates the conclusion of a formal networking agreement; apointment of a network coordinator; establishment of an administrative and financial coordinating structure; resource sharing with priority to audiovisual resources; development of union lists of periodical, reference, and audiovisual materials; establishment of centralized collection of reference, juvenile, and audiovisual materials, and professional periodicals in education and librarianship; provision of reprography and delivery services; and the development of selection aids and cooperative acquisition programs. The study includes a bibliography, a school libraries questionnaire, school library and community descriptive materials, a timetable for network implementation, tables of data, and a subject index.
