This information is intended to bring reference librarians up to date on alternative energy technologies and available reference materials to which library patrons may be directed. Among the speeches included are those pertaining to alcohol fuels, wind-propelled cargo ships, electric automobiles, geothermal energy and methane research projects, and reference questions the Bay Area Reference Center (BARC) typically receives.
