It is intended to help school librarians strengthen their Hawaiian collections. Books for adults are also included. Excluded are cookbooks, Pacific area materials, and tourist-oriented materials. The first part of the bibliography is a subject listing by major Dewey Decimal classifications. Only author and titles are provided in this listing.
