An analysis of information related to the staffing, budget, resources, services, and institutional relationships of the library is provided, along with a detailed examination of Collier Library's ability to meet its objectives. The library staff is described, library expenditures for the fiscal years 1975-76 through 1979-80 are outlined, the expansion of the library's facilities is discussed, the extent and sufficiency of the library's resources are reviewed, the results of student and faculty evaluations of the library's resources are summarized, and the selection, acquisition, organization, and maintenance of the library's collections are evaluated. The role of Collier Library's Learning Resources Center is then outlined, and circulation, use, and acquisition data for the library are presented and discussed. Cooperation of Collier Library with other institutions is also described. A set of comparative data relating the performance of the Collier Library to that of other similar facilities and projections for the future of the library, along with a series of recommendations for the improvement of the library's facilities and services, conclude the report. Fifteen data tables and 15 figures accompany the text. (JL)
