Costers (Netherlands) of the Pica Shared Cataloguing and other Dutch library network systems, and the expected development of a Dutch national automation network; (3) "Pilot Implementation of an Open Library Network Concept in Canada," a discussion by Cynthia J. Durance (Canada) of the Canadian library network environment and the development of a pilot information transfer project for joint cataloging, information provision, and interlibrary lending by the National Library of Canada and five other institutions using an iNet Gateway trial service mounted by the TransCanada Telephone System; and (4) "Problems Related to Interlinking Online Interactive Library Networks" by Frederick G. Kilgour (United States), which considers 48 discrete problems--of which 12 stem from international activity--of the inter-linkage of two library networks for the purposes of shared cataloging, online union catalogs, and interlibrary lending.
