Buckley on the quantitative and qualitative coverage of this literature by "Bulletin Signaletique,""Library and Information Science Abstracts (LISA),""Library Literature," and "Referativnyi Zhurnal," with an analysis of how journal geographic origin (France, Great Britain, United States, and U.S.S.R.), language of publication, and provision of original abstracts affect abstracting and indexing coverage; and (2) "The Life, Death and Resurrection of a Journal" by E. Bejide Bankole, which proposes a study of successful and unsuccessful journal publication ventures, provides a draft questionnaire for such a study, and discusses possible reasons for journal failure.
