Topics include: reasons for and benefits of school rules, student rights, reading and interpreting statutes, being an accessory to crime, frequency of community crimes, citizenship responsibility, grand theft, vandalism, and the juvenile justice system. Other activities involve students in vocabulary exercises, puzzles, collages, interviews with victims of crime, library research, book reports, and visits to the county jail.
