Cost Effectiveness Costs Library Expenditures Library Research Library Surveys Library Technical Processes Operating Expenses Research Libraries Research Methodology Designed to assist library managers in conducting effective cost studies, this document provides a summary of the data for the 81 member libraries which responded to a survey of technical services cost studies conducted by the Association of Research Libraries (ARL) in April 1982, and seven reports of such studies.
