Following a discussion of the definition of folklore, citations are divided into the following categories: encyclopedias and dictionaries, national and regional encyclopedias and dictionaries, bibliographies, guides, indexes, and periodicals. The Library of Congress classification, bibliographic information, and a brief description are provided for each entry. Some sources are published in foreign languages only. Most materials cited were published between 1962 and 1980. (LP)
