It contains a list of commonly used English words and lists of key words used in 13 subject areas: art, foreign languages, language arts, library science, mathematics, music, physical education, recreation, ROTC, science, social studies, telecommunications, and ESL. In each category, the English words are given, followed by the Romanized spelling and International Phonetic Alphabet transcription of the Vietnamese equivalent.
