The first section of the guide is a job title index; each entry consists of a job title, the occupational field of the job, and an accession number identifying a journal listed in the second section of the handbook. Provided in the second section are annotations for 183 journals, each of which contains the following: accession number; journal title, call number, and location within the university library system; frequency of publication; geographical coverage of job listings; and occupational fields and job titles for which advertisements are most frequently posted.
