Papers from the Round Table on Management of Library Associations include: (1) "Political Persuasion of Library Associations for the National Development of Libraries. The View of the Scandinavian Library Associations" (M. Torngen, Sweden); (2) "Persuading Politicians to Support U.S. Libraries" (Eileen D. Cooke, United States); and (3) "The Role of the Polish Librarians Association in Creation of Library and Information Policy in Poland" (Stefan Kubow, Poland). Mary Niles Maack (United States) presented a paper at the Round Table for Editors of Library Journals entitled "The Literature of Librarianship in Francophone Africa." Two papers presented at the Round Table on Audiovisual Media are included here: "Universal Availability of Non-Book Materials in Australia" (Paul T. McNally, Australia) and "UAP (Universal Availability of Publications) and Audiovisual Materials" (Maurice B. Line, United Kingdom). (THC)
