An initial profile of the member libraries examined the subject distribution of books owned, availability of books owned, subject distribution of interlibrary loan requests, acquisitions, and age of materials requested on interlibrary loan. Aids in interpreting the statistics that were developed as a result of the data gathering are offered as well as a composite of the various data among the 14 participating libraries. The last portion of the packet is devoted to a list of subjects and collecting responsibilities as agreed upon by the libraries. (Author/THC)
