Guides in the collection include: (1) Researching the Company (Chicago and Illinois business and national and international business); (2) Surveying Your Market (industry analysis, consumer analysis, and national business environment); (3) Industry Information (trade associations, census materials, indexes, and other reference sources); (4) Investments: Information Sources (current investment news, stocks, bonds, mutual funds and investment companies, dividends, industry information, and company information); and (5) Special Issues of Business Journals, (notes the nature of the special issues and the months in which they are published). Students are directed to newspapers, pamphlets, indexes, abstracts, census materials, periodicals, and other sources. Library of Congress catalog numbers and library locations are provided.
