This approach allows each student to hunt through the library, locate various commonly used educational resources, and use each resource as it is located. Although the activities are specific to Founder's Library at Northern Illinois University, they can be adapted for use in other libraries. The module covers the following areas: (1) Selected General References; (2) Library Computer System; (3) Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC); (4) Selected Indexes and Abstracts; (5) Selected Reviews of Research; (6) Test References; (7) Northern Illinois University Theses and Dissertations; (8) Government Documents; and (9) Periodicals. Background information, instructions for use, and brief exercises are provided for each resource. (KM)
