For each grade level, kindergarten through 12, suggested student skill goals are listed for the following skill categories: (1) library media center procedures; (2) care of materials; (3) location of materials; (4) use of audiovisual materials; (5) production of audiovisual materials; (6) use of the card catalog; (7) location of information; (8) knowledge of and appreciation for literature; and (9) discrimination in the location, selection, and organization of information. Although not highlighted, skills designated by the MSDE (Maryland State Department of Education) Project Basic Skills are integrated into the chart. (KM)
