Following a brief preface, "Appendix A, Criteria for Tenure, Promotion and Salary Increments for the Faculty of the University of Oklahoma Libraries" include: (1) Criteria for Tenure, including those for teaching, research or creative achievement, professional service, and university service; (2) Criteria for Appointment or Promotion to various ranks, including assistant professor, associate professor, and professor; (3) Criteria for Salary Increments; and (4) Evaluation of Faculty for Tenure, Promotion, and Salary Increments. In addition, "Guidelines for Research for the Faculty of the University of Oklahoma Libraries," a supplement to Appendix A developed to assist library faculty members in their research and publication efforts, discusses acceptable and unacceptable publications, documents, or presentations; rankings of media of dissemination; quantitative measures; and external measures. A 43-item bibliography is also provided. (KM) |
