The description of the kindergarten briefly focuses on the definition and philosophy of the kindergarten; the history of the kindergarten; principles of kindergarten education; and areas of the kindergarten curriculum. Centers overviewed include housekeeping, blocks, library, art, science, game/manipulatives, language arts, math, music, woodworking, cooking, and sand/water centers.
