It then lists and describes information sources in 16 categories: abstracts; atlases; bibliographies; biographical sources; card catalog; dictionaries; dissertations; encyclopedias; government documents (bibliographies and guides); handbooks; indexes; manuscripts; microform research collections; newspapers; style manuals; and subject headings.
