The booklet notes that the programs span all grade levels and have been successful in giving many students the extra motivation or "push" they need to establish lifelong reading habits. Chapters in the booklet list reading incentive programs and other information on the following: (1) reading clubs; (2) special reading times; (3) parents and the reading program; (4) read-a-thon programs; (5) special days; (6) book report programs; (7) contests and awards; (8) special reading programs; (9) library programs; and (10) principals and reading incentives.
