After a general description of: (1) the philosophy and theory underlying the curriculum; (2) the goals and objectives; (3) the physical environment; (4) the teacher's role; (5) planning the daily program; and (6) the parent's role, the curriculum focuses on interest areas and describes in detail what and how children learn and the teacher's role in using each of the interest centers. These centers include blocks, house corner, table toys, art, sand and water, library corner, and outdoors. Two appendices include sample letters to parents and audiovisual resources for the curriculum. (PCB) |
