Simon of the GID (Gesellschaft fur Information und Dokumentation), Frankfort am Main, West Germany. Techniques for using information collected from electronic databases to carry out research on bibliometrics are discussed, as well as ways to encourage cooperation between the Department of Information Science and the GID. Attachments to the report, which are in English, include bibliographies of 39 publications by Nicholas J. Belkin and 66 publications by R. T. Bottle; abstracts of two London University theses, "The Statistical Analysis of Bibliographic Data" (J. E.
