  • Necessity of a Space for the Study of the Theoretical and Conceptual Problems as Part of the Harmonisation in the Teaching of Librarianship, Archives and Documentation. Topics considered include: (1) background information on schools of librarianship in Colombia; (2) justification for structuring a theoretical body of knowledge for the profession; (3) theoretical area objectives within the harmonization program--with a view to the internal model within the developing country; and (4) minimum contents proposed for a curriculum.
