In "National Repository Planning in Scandinavia: The Result of a Seminar," Birgitta Bergdahl gives background on a 1987 seminar on national repository planning, summarizes the current situation of repository libraries in Scandinavia, and offers recommendations and warnings. In "The Acquisition Crisis in Academic Libraries: The Role of Book Price Indices in Budgetary Planning," Rolf Griebel considers the applicability of different types of price indices to budget planning with reference to Anglo-American and West German literature.
