It is noted that these courses are offered in conjunction with the Masters Degree in Media Studies at the New School for Social Research and the Polytechnic Institute, both in New York City. A progress report on Connect Ed's first two years includes discussions of its accomplishments and problems as well as projections for future growth. The various aspects of the computer program are described, including the Connect Ed Library with hundreds of papers online, and the Connect Ed Cafe for social conversation. Particular attention is focused on the international character of the program, with 15% of the students coming from Japan, Singapore, England, Canada, South America, and Central America. (EW)
