Audiodisks Audiotape Cassettes Blindness Books Braille Childrens Literature Elementary Education Fiction Physical Disabilities Talking Books Visual Impairments This bibliography is designed to aid in the selection of literature for visually impaired or physically handicapped students between second and sixth grades. It lists selected fiction books available on disc, on cassette, or in braille in network library collections provided by the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped of the Library of Congress. The list is divided into 17 sections: fairy tales; folklore; stories in rhyme; friendship; family life; music; poetry; humor; tales of mystery; frontier and pioneer life; sports, pets, and amusements; children's stories; winter readings; spring readings; summer readings; autumn readings; and special days of celebration. Each entry contains a brief description of the story, an indication of reading level, and a publication date. The guide also contains descriptions of other bibliographies which list materials for individuals with visual impairments. An author-title index and an order form complete the volume. (JDD)
