This bibliography contains 381 citations to information published between January 1983 and December 1988 concerning the following aspects of minority health: (1) health education; (2) health promotion; (3) attitudes towards health; and (4) availability of health services. Citations are limited to the United States and to ethnic groups identified in a search of the National Library of Medicine's MEDLINE database; women were not considered as a separate minority. Citations are arranged in the following three sections: (1) journal articles; (2) hearings, conference papers, and reports; and (3) monographs. The journal articles are subdivided into the following subject categories: (1) aging; (2) AIDS; (3) cancer; (4) cardiovascular diseases; (5) mental health; (6) adolescent pregnancy; (7) general pregnancy issues; (8) substance abuse; and (9) general health. Citations appear in only one category. A subscription order form is appended. (Author/FMW) |
