Each bibliography contains entries arranged alphabetically by title under Dewey Decimal Classification headings, i.e., 000s through 900s. Entries consist of the title, author/published, publication date, and cost; elementary-level entries also include their International Standard Book Numbers (ISBN). Entries considered to be basic to collections of all sizes are marked with an asterisk. A one- or two-line annotation points out unique features, recommends appropriate applications, and occasionally suggests a specific age group for its use. The elementary-level reference materials include approximately 100 books, about 40 of which are marked with an asterisk. The secondary level materials include approximately 300 books and microforms, about 60 of which are marked with an asterisk. The secondary level listing also includes a separate list of 35 biographical sources and a list of 14 online, CD-ROM, or microcomputer-based sources for reference information. (SD)
