And Others Annotated Bibliographies College Libraries Higher Education Indexes Library Collections Microfilm Microforms Reference Materials The Texas A&M University Library houses over 500 microforms of books, journals, lists, brochures, and reports from a broad subject range, and includes rare and out-of-print titles. This guide is divided into three sections: (1) an alphabetical list of microform titles; (2) the bibliographic entries; and (3) a subject index. Entries are arranged alphabetically by collection title, and include the microform call number, publisher, microform format (e.g., 35mm positive microfiche), a 30- to 50-word annotation, related collections, access tools and indexes, and subject index terms. The subject index itself is organized by its approximately 650 major headings, and includes as subjects person and organizational names, fields and disciplines, geographical locations, current issues, and other general topics. The index is cross referenced with "see also" notations. (SD)
