The programs include: (1) Colorado State Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped ("Library Helps Patrons Gain Independence"); (2) Library Research Program ("Friends of Library Groups in Colorado"); (3) Direct Library Services and Office Administration; (4) Colorado Department of Education Resource Center ("Librarians as 'Mind Readers'"); (5) the State Publications Library ("For a Librarian, No Question Is Too Obscure"); (6) Library Services to State Institutions ("Preparing Inmates for the Job Market"); (7) Adult Basic Education; (8) Amnesty Education Program; (9) Colorado Refugee English as a Second Language ("Tutoring Refugees Teaches Culture as Well as Words"); (10) the General Educational Development (GED) Testing Program; (11) Colorado Literacy Action; (12) Library Development and Regional Systems; (13) Summer Reading Program; (14) School Library Media Programs ("Bringing the Library to the Students"); (15) Library Networking and Automation ("Interlibrary Loan Leads to Master's Degree"); (16) Public Library Development ("Attending College by Computer"); and (17) Library Services and Construction Act (LSCA) ("Libraries Mean Business in Pueblo"). Also included are a 1988 financial summary (excluding federal funds); an organizational chart; a map of the regional library systems; and a list of Office of Library and Adult Services staff. (SD)
