The range of the papers reflects the broad range of issues that were included in the deliberations of the committee--matters dealing with legislation; standards and standardization in the context of networking; new pilot projects; the development of communication infrastructures that foster technological innovations; practical problems in managing innovative efforts; and pioneering uses of new technologies in libraries of all sorts.
