Project components, the time schedule and budget, administration, advisory committee, disciplinary task forces, supporting studies, research projects, and communications are described in the second section. The next section covers management of the project, including time schedule and budget, management of sub-projects, and project data files. The following specific results are discussed in the fourth section: (1) internal management concerns, including administrative structure and personnel; (2) external management concerns, including publishing, political/social/legislative/legal issues, cooperative programs, and technological concerns; (3) needs for print publications; (4) the integration of library/computer/telecommunications; (5) inter-institutional cooperation; (6) acquisition of foreign material; (7) library services; (8) information centers; (9) user interfaces; (10) digitized images; (11) off-campus users; (12) expert service development; (13) indexing and abstracting services; (14) desktop publishing; (15) database development; (16) file conversion; and (17) project management.
