The first section includes science materials related to the following topics or formats: an introduction to science; living things following topics: an introduction to science; living things (humans); matter and energy; space exploration; ecology; periodicals; and community resources. The second section features social studies books, nonprint sources, maps, and periodicals on Europe and the Soviet Union. General reference works and newspapers are listed in the third section.
