- Square One TV--Content Analysis and Show Rundowns through Season Three. Schneider, Joel And Others Content Analysis Educational Objectives Educational Television Mathematics Education Problem Solving Programing (Broadcast) Student Attitudes This report summarizes the mathematical and pedagogical content of the Square One TV library (155 programs) after three seasons of production, relating that content to the three goals of the television series. It also provides a rundown of the shows, with a complete specification of each segment's show number, content, description, format, length, and other information. The goals of the series are: (1) to promote positive attitudes toward, and enthusiasm for, mathematics; (2) to encourage the use and application of problem solving processes; and (3) to present sound mathematical content in an interesting, accessible, and meaningful manner. A complete statement of goals, a list of the 155 Square One TV shows with emphases, and further detail of the analysis of segments according to goals 2 and 3 are appended. (KR)
