Also included are a discussion of the role of the teacher librarian, an overview of information technology, an explanation of curriculum resources information systems and guidelines for planning library automation, an overview of new and forthcoming technologies, and an IT plan for a school library. Three appendices provide a directory of sources and services, an extensive bibliography, and guidelines for planning for the introduction of online services in the school. (MAB)
