Access to Information Conferences Democracy Information Science Library Planning Library Role Library Services Literacy Productivity Task Analysis Technological Advancement The Texas Conference on Libraries and Information Services was one of a series of meetings held throughout the nation to allow the public to identify critical issues for consideration at the second White House Conference on Library and Information Services (WHCLIS II; Washington, DC, July 9-13, 1991). The 28 resolutions that were produced as a result of these meetings are presented in this report and ranked in priority order. They fall into the three broad categories of literacy, productivity, and democracy--the themes of WHCLIS II. The resolutions were designed to be presented during the conference for inclusion in the national agenda and to be considered for appropriate action on the state and local levels. Concluding the report are the names of the Texas delegates and alternates to WHCLIS II and the planners of the Texas conference. (MAB)
