Academic Libraries Accreditation (Institutions) Annotated Bibliographies Higher Education Library Administration Library Collections Library Facilities Library Personnel Library Services Systems Analysis The first of two parts of this document is a basic outline to be used in the preliminary preparation for a library accreditation visit. It is appropriate for use in a range of education/psychology/behavioral sciences libraries in an academic setting, from those of a small college library to those of a departmental library in a university library system. The preliminary questions for review preparation are organized alphabetically in seven broad subject areas: General Questions, Budget, Collections, Facilities, Personnel, Policy and Administration, and Services. Concluding the outline is a definition of terms. The second part, which was compiled and prepared by Victoria Clayton and Jamie W. Coniglio, contains an 11-item selective annotated bibliography and a list of 16 additional references. (MAB)
