The overall school library management task is divided into the following sections: (1) Goals and Objectives; (2) Evaluation; (3) Public Relations; (4) Selection; (5) Circulation; (6) Processing; (7) Weeding and Inventory; (8) Aides and Volunteers; (9) Budget; (10) Computers; (11) Getting Organized; (12) Discipline; and (13) Overdues Management. The two final sections contain reproducible forms for use by the library media specialist and an extensive annotated bibliography of additional professional resources. (MAB) |
