These projects were: (1) the Eastern Islands Agricultural Education Project (Indonesia); (2) Library of the University of Jordan (Amman, Jordan); (3) Geological Survey Department Library (Maseru, Lesotho); and (4) Library of the Regional University of Kordofan (El Obeid, Sudan). Materials provided for each working group include a description of the project, an overview of the environment, the goals of the project, and a detailed outline of the preliminary plan of action, including the identification of the critical elements that will be necessary for the establishment, operation, and sustainability of the assigned library; an identification of the information needed and how it can be obtained; and an outline of the plan to be developed by that group.
